A Critical, Third Party Review of MLM Trainer Eric Worre

Eric Worre Background:

I first had the opportunity to meet Eric Worre in my first successful MLM experience. Eric was one of the ‘big three’ leaders in the company I worked with him.

Mr. Worre is a unique person, to say the least, and has always been an interesting person to do business with. On the stage of major conventions, Eric asks questions and listens more than he speaks. He plays the role of celebrity interviewer, asking questions to clarify points that allow the finer points of network marketing success to shine through in a way that would otherwise remain in the dark.

Eric Worre is a FANTASTIC leader and I encourage you to familiarize yourself with his training.

So how does Eric Worre build his business?

Eric follows a traditional word of mouth business model and boils down his training to the simplest possible steps for his team. It’s hard to actually get Mr. Worre to train on anything other than 3-way calls, house meetings, and weekly events.

He won’t do it. Actually, I don’t know if he’d remember it, but one day I overheard him talking about how he kept things ridiculously simple, so I was with him later that day at a training convention, and I questioned him, trying my best to get him to be complicated. He just wouldn’t do it.

Eric will drill over and over ‘keep it simple’. Before I met him, I came from a long list of senior lines and teams trying to build a business in the most complex way possible. (Which was terribly frustrating, because I didn’t know what I was doing).

So are Eric’s business building techniques effective for all people?

Eric is one who freely admits that he just doesn’t. If you look at the facts of the last 60 years of MLM, it is clear to most managers that not all trainings are suitable for everyone. Simply put – there are thousands of different ways to build an MLM business that work for different personality types.

Eric’s system brought me my first success in MLM, overcoming the initial difficulty of making more than a few thousand dollars a month – and I did it the traditional way through meetings, Super Saturdays, etc.

But to be honest, most people have had a hard time learning and using Eric’s system. We were all a bunch of broke 25 year old college dropouts, and while I had a pretty big group (over 1000 people), that system just doesn’t work well at all for my previous peer group. Very simply, if I ever wanted to make more than $5000 a month in Eric’s group, I would have to join the Chamber of Commerce, go to church 3x a week, maybe join the Rotary Club and any other social group I could get involved with where I could meet people who had a larger sphere of influence than mine.

Also, I discovered after a while that I just didn’t enjoy spending all my free time in meetings, on conference calls, and with potential strangers. Although I love to speak, the pressure in that group to hold meetings every week and fill a huge room with people was enormous. I wanted a better way of doing things, plain and simple (which I actually enjoyed).

So should you just forget everything Eric ever said? Just so you know – Eric’s system was the first way I made money in network marketing. However, I just wasn’t going to settle for a measly five grand a month, so I started looking for a more powerful, efficient business system

…then I found cyperspace. It took some effort, training and practice, but I learned how to promote myself online. Not only is it way more fun than all that stuff I’ve been doing, but it works a LOT better.

It was an empowering transformation (as you can imagine) when people started calling me, asking me to get involved in my business.

Simply put, does Eric Worre’s training work? Yes – but you know what? I would never build a business that way again. Simply put, I don’t care how much I would make that way. After a while, I discovered that it’s a lot more fun to advertise and promote yourself in a way that’s engaging, fun and empowering – to sponsor people who WANT to know what you do.

I wouldn’t want it to be any other way.

However, I experienced the exact opposite. My income increased fivefold in my first six months of online promotion. Today, I consistently bring 20-50 reps a month to my opportunity, all of whom DEMAND to join.
